I am a mom of a fun, loving, photogenic little four year old and a spunky, funny, brave little two year old boy! I am a proud police wife to an extremely hard working husband!

Photography has always been special to me since I was a young girl growing up in Connecticut. I always remember seeing my aunt and Mom snapping photos at all of our family occasions and special events. As I got older, I looked back at those photos (boxes and boxes of old photos), and it inspired me to start taking my own photos. It was my creative outlet and I started simple with just taking photos of my family and nature.

When I went off to college in Massachusetts for my degree in accounting, I found  that I still needed that creative outlet. I  took a few photography courses while at college so I would have that outlet, but with more knowledge and focus (no pun intended). 

While working full-time as an accountant after college, I still took my own photos during my off time, but then began taking photos for family and friends. After a few years of doing this, I was encouraged by my family and sister in law to start my path into becoming a full time photographer. So I took a few more photography courses online and started with my first few clients! 

When my daughter Makenzie was born in 2018, I left my accounting job and transitioned my part-time photography gig into my full time photography career! I started that by doing a bit of everything (weddings, birthdays, newborns, maternity, holiday sessions, and so much more). Now, almost 5 years later, I’ve been able to focus in on my main passions of newborns, maternity and family; and I couldn’t be happier!

I couldn’t have done any of this without the continued support of my clients. Thank you for always supporting me and trusting me to capture your special moments. Even though as a photographer there is always a “final product”, I do truly enjoy the entire process from start to finish. And I am honored to be a small piece of those special moments in your life and can’t explain how much that means to me.
